Why Same Winners Happen
Same winner syndrome seems to haunt many bingo sites, and it’s a big challenge for our industry as a whole.
Same winners happen, because in every game, room and site, there are players with different wagering habits:
– some buy minimum cards
– where others play max cards
As I’m sure you’ve heard this before:
“Bingo is a game of chance and the more cards a player has the higher odds they have in claiming bingo”
Though having more cards doesn’t guarantee a bingo, it improves the probability.
How Winners are Selected
Here’s how winner’s are determined:
1. The Game Server Starts a New game by selecting the Game pattern for the next game.
2. The Game server enables player card purchasing.
3. The Players manually select their game cards from a deck of over 30,000 unique bingo cards.
4. Players purchase their desired cards.
5. The purchase requests are sent to the game server.
6. The game server receives the purchase requests from the players and enters their selected cards into the game.
7. The server sends an acknowledgement back to the player telling the player that their cards have been purchased, and entered into the game. 25 Seconds before game start time the game server suspends further card purchasing.
8. The game server waits an additional 15 seconds to make sure that all purchase requests have been completed and properly entered into the system
9. The game server then generates 75 or 90 numbers using the systems random number generator.
10. The game server then systematically applies the random calls to each of the player purchased bingo cards and crosschecks each card with the winning pattern.
11. With this procedure the game server has now determined the number of winning bingo cards in the deck of player purchased cards and at which call the cards have won.
12. Receives this information and begins calling the numbers. Calls are presented to the user every ten seconds.
13. Players can then play and chat with other players knowing that in the event of any system, or telecommunications interruption their cards have been fairly entered into the game and that in each case the true game winner (or winners) will be awarded the prize.
Our Software
There are many different bingo software providers today. We chose a software partner that shares our commitment to fair play. Our random Number Generator (RNG) has earned a prestigious certificate from an internationally recognized and respected Accredited Testing Facility – Technical Systems Testing (TST).
“Without getting technical, TST has verified, through mathematical and statistical analysis (in accordance with the strict standards of highly regulated jurisdictions) that the our software provider’s RNG distributes numbers with sufficient non-predictability, fair distribution and lack of bias to particular outcomes.”
Our Commitment to You
Knowing that we have a software partner committed to fair play is just the start. In the past, to combat same winners syndrome, we experimented with a fair n’ square room where all players received equal cards, per game, unfortunately the down turn of that was very low wagering and low game prizes and ultimately the room fizzled off.
But that hasn’t dithered us from coming up with other creative ways to provide fair play to you.
